Just two points separated the two teams when they met in the corresponding clash at Leichhardt Oval in Round 11 last year.

The visitors looked destined for only their second win at the venue before Kiwi-born Benji Marshall changed the course of the game with a decisive sideline conversion to steal it 24-22.

The Warriors led 10-0 at half-time but, on the back of a 4-3 penalty count and an efficiency rating of 90 per cent – and the brilliance of Benji – the home side came charging back.

Props Aaron Woods and Keith Galloway laid a winning platform for the Tigers, both running for 182 metres, while Tim Moltzen made two decisive line-breaks.

The Warriors’ backs proved incredibly elusive and hard to stop, with Bill Tupou (114 metres), Konrad Hurrell (173 metres) and Manu Vatuvei (127 metres) all registering big numbers with ball in hand.
