It was all the Roosters when these two teams clashed in Round 25 last year, with the Bondi boys marching to a decisive 44-20 win.

The Roosters’ dominance centred around a superior completion rate – they finished with 30 completions from 36 sets, compared to the Tigers’ 22 from 32 – and it allowed them to run away with the match.

With the Tigers’ season on the line, they produced their worst performance of the season in what coach Tim Sheens labelled a “horrible” effort. At halftime the Roosters led 26-0.

Roosters rising star Daniel Tupou finished with a hat-trick as the Tigers’ poor handling (13 errors to eight) cost them any chance of competing.
