Roosters forward Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is facing the prospect of missing the opening Qualifying Final against Manly on Saturday night after he was charged by the NRL Match Review Committee with Grade 1 Dangerous Contact - Forearm.
Waerea-Hargreaves was cited following an incident in the 69th minute involving South Sydney’s Chris McQueen during the Roosters' 24-12 win over the Rabbitohs to clinch the Minor Premiership at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

The charge leaves Waerea-Hargreaves on 108 points with an early guilty plea or 138 points if he fights the charge at the NRL judiciary and loses.
Ironically, carry-over points from a tackle on Manly’s George Rose in Round 9 could cost Waerea-Hargreaves a place against the Sea Eagles in the opening week of the Finals.
Waerea-Hargreaves will need to successfully fight the charge at the NRL judiciary to be available for the Final against Manly at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.
The Roosters enforcer will have until midday on Tuesday to enter a plea.
