Mitchell Pearce is suffering from the flu but his teammates say it won't affect the half's build-up to the Grand Final

Wests Tigers utility Braith Anasta believes the NRL Grand Final will come down to the battle of the halves, but the form of Brett Stewart could play a big part in deciding the result.

Speaking to the crew on SportsFan Clubhouse, the former Rooster says the match will be much more open than the qualifying final a few weeks ago, which saw Sydney overcome Manly by an unlikely 4-0 scoreline.

"In that game, the Manly Sea Eagles didn't have Brett Stewart. I think that had an impact on that game because they were in good positions to score tries but they couldn't get over the line," Anasta said.
