The Roosters enjoyed the spoils of victory in 2013 - will your NRL Fantasy team have the same success in 2014?

Pre-registration is open now for 2014's NRL Fantasy and Tipping games – with tickets, flights and accommodation to the inaugural Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines up for grabs for one lucky player who gets in quick.

For the last two seasons NRL Dream Team has been the number one fantasy rugby league game in Australia, with in excess of 260,000 fantasy teams being created across all our games in 2013. Next year Dream Team is getting an upgrade and has been renamed NRL Fantasy.

The game you know and love will still remain familiar, and you will still be able to compete against your mates for ultimate bragging rights – not to mention major and weekly prizes. But the new platform will also deliver a better all-round experience for fantasy coaches, including a cleaner layout, more flexibility to set up and manage your leagues, an easier process for trading players and a brand new premium coach assistance product to help you along the fantasy journey.

Will Tigers young gun Luke Brooks make your squad? Will you give Kangaroos skipper Cameron Smith the nod as captain? Will you splash the cash on a reliable forward pack or a star-studded backline? Time to start planning your 2014 team now.

Pre-register now for NRL Fantasy or NRL Tipping.

Meanwhile in other NRL Fantasy news...

After lengthy contract discussions and a very unhealthy off-season, our resident NRL Fantasy guru the Lone Scout will also return in 2014. Lone Scout is already busy poring over the 2014 squad lists and potential player prices to try to get a jump start on the competition.

Rumour has it Lone Scout is planning to exclusively reveal the official 2014 player prices before the launch of NRL Fantasy in late January, so keep an eye on NRL.com for more information.

Do you have any NRL Fantasy ideas or feedback? Jump onto the Lone Scout Facebook or Twitter page and let him know, or submit your ideas when you pre-register for next season's game.
