The inaugural Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines will see the 16 NRL clubs competing for $2.6 million in prize money in a two-day blockbuster over February 15 and 16. While the individual 15-man squads are unknown at this stage, each club is committed to fielding 12 players from their top 25 squad, including at least one of their five highest-paid players.

Josh Morris - Defences with just nine players might be just the tonic for a strike weapon that didn't cross the stripe until Round 13 last season.
Josh Reynolds - With Barba out of the picture, let's see how Reynolds handles the responsibility of being the most enterprising player at Belmore.
Tony Williams - Not since his prehistoric days as a winger will T-Rex have seen space like this. Time to wind back the clock, big fella.
James Graham - The Nines environment would be the perfect platform to find out just how a good halfback this English prop could be.
Trent Hodkinson - Speed is great, but it's not as fast as vision, which Hodkinson has in bucketloads. Even in Nines you need a general.
Krisnan Inu - Arguably the best drop-kicker in the club, if not the NRL. There'll certainly be plenty of four-pointers in the Nines, but with drop-goal conversions Inu can make them six each time.
Josh Jackson - Every defence needs a middle man, and Jackson is the Bulldogs' fittest. The bloke knows how to hit a hole too.
