The inaugural Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines will see the 16 NRL clubs competing for $2.6 million in prize money in a two-day blockbuster over February 15 and 16. While the individual 15-man squads are unknown at this stage, each club is committed to fielding 12 players from their top 25 squad, including at least one of their five highest-paid players.

So who is the one Dragons player who is most likely to shine at the tournament? Have your say below.

Brett Morris - One of the fastest players and best finishers in the NRL will be hard to leave out for the Dragons.

Josh Dugan - He bounces off about nine defenders each carry every week in the NRL, so imagine the destruction he can cause in Auckland?

Gareth Widdop - If not for early-season chemistry, than how about picking Widdop for sheer entertainment? The Brit can size up the game like the best of them.

Jason Nightingale - He'll still run funny, but he'll just do more of it. Fatigue is your biggest enemy in Nines, but Nightingale's never heard of it.

Kyle Stanley - We're still waiting to see the best of the injury-prone prodigy and a mini-tournament with plenty of empty space could be the catalyst for a breakout year.

Trent Merrin - This game isn't just hits and giggles. Someone's got to cart the ball up and 'Mez' is the best at it out Wollongong way.

Tyson Frizell - The bloke knows how to hit a hole, and there'll be plenty of those in Nines.
