Sam Tomkins shows off the Warriors' brand new Auckland Nines jersey.
The Warriors have named an exciting squad for the inaugural Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines, headlined by star English recruit Sam Tomkins and New Zealand halfback Shaun Johnson.

The Nines hosts will also field hard-running backs Konrad Hurrell and Ngani Laumape as well as the fleet-footed Glen Fisiiahi and former Sharks second-rower Jayson Bukuya.

"We're really excited about the tournament and about playing in front of a sold-out Eden Park. It's going to be a massive event," Warriors assistant coach Ricky Henry said.

"We've got trials going on at the same time so picking the squad was a challenge but we're taking the Nines very seriously.

"We wanted to put a strong squad together and we've been able to do that with a group of players who'll give us plenty of skill and pace."
