The National Rugby League has welcomed the Federal Government’s announcement that a former Federal Court Judge would assist the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) with its investigations.
“The NRL supports any measures that will assist ASADA in bringing this current investigation to a conclusion,” NRL’s Head of Integrity, Mr Jim Doyle, said.
“The NRL remains keen for a resolution that is both thorough and timely and will continue to work with ASADA and The Hon Garry Downes to provide any assistance required.”
