1. Greg Inglis (Rabbitohs): It was a bit of a rocks or diamonds effort from GI against the Broncos - but the good stuff was otherworldly. Scored one of rugby league’s greatest individual tries, assisted two more and ran 205 metres in an Anzac Day thriller.
2. Curtis Rona (Cowboys): What a find the big rookie has been for the Cowboys. Scored a pair of tries and should have had a hat-trick in a game against the Eels that saw him run 105 metres.
3. Ricky Leutele (Sharks): Has been a real bright spot in a tough start to the year for Cronulla. Scored a try and ran 166 metres in another classy effort against the Panthers.
4. Dave Taylor (Titans): The hulking Queenslander has been warming into the season and revelled in a move to the centres against Wests Tigers, running 177 metres.
5. Peta Hiku (Sea Eagles): Scored four tries against the Raiders in an afternoon he’ll never forget at Brookvale, also running 161 metres and making three line breaks.
6. Johnathan Thurston (Cowboys): There’s nothing like rep season to spur JT into action. The champion playmaker scored a try, made a try assist and also a line break in a crushing win over the Eels.
7. Daly Cherry-Evans (Sea Eagles): Simply stunning. Had a hand in seven tries in the rout of Canberra, directly assisting four. Also made two line break assists and a pair of line breaks himself. This very special No.7 is a future great of the game.
8. George Burgess (Rabbitohs): The big Brit was at his rampaging best against the Broncos, scoring a try, running a massive 249 metres, making 30 tackles and popping a pair of offloads.
9. Jake Friend (Roosters): Earned the Ashton-Collier Spirit of Anzac Medal with a tough effort against the Dragons. Scored a try, ran 68 metres and made 41 tackles.
10. Aiden Tolman (Bulldogs): The no-frills prop’s stats have been huge once again this season and he was great against Newcastle. Scored a try, ran 171 metres and made 39 tackles.
11. Boyd Cordner (Roosters): Produced the goods in Anzac Day and got a Kangaroos spot for his efforts. Scored a try, ran 138 quality metres and made 17 tackles against the Dragons.
12. Simon Mannering (Warriors): Was absolutely immense for his side in an Anzac Day upset of the Storm. The skipper assisted a try, ran 110 metres and made 34 tackles.
13. Paul Gallen (Sharks): It has taken no time at all for the Test hard man to regain his form post-injury. Ran 201 metres and made 23 tackles in a desperate win over Penrith.
14. Michael Morgan (Cowboys): A very clever footballer who showed his wares against the Eels with a great solo try from a grubber and a pair of assists.
15. Shaun Johnson (Warriors): Melbourne must truly hate seeing this man visit. Was a constant threat in his side’s upset victory, scoring a sensational try that proved to be the match-winner.
16. James Tamou (Cowboys): The Kangaroos incumbent played his best game of the season, powering to 178 metres from 19 runs in Townsville and making 18 tackles.
17. Brenton Lawrence (Sea Eagles): Was all power and class against hapless Canberra, scoring a try, running 186 metres and making 28 tackles.
