The Sydney Roosters have re-signed New Zealand Test prop Sam Moa to a two-year contract extension.

The new deal will keep Moa at the club until the end of 2016, reinforcing one of the strongest forward packs in the NRL.

“I’ve been a part of a few different clubs but feel like I’ve really found a home here at the Roosters,” Moa said.

“I’ve worked hard to get to where I am and am so glad to be part of such a well-run organisation from the top down.

“Despite interest from other clubs, I always wanted to stay a Rooster and am so happy that I’m able to. I look forward to continuing to work hard with my teammates to maintain and build on the standards we pride ourselves on.”

The 27-year-old has played 32 NRL matches, while also representing Tonga and then the Kiwis at Test level.
