Game One of this year's Holden State of Origin Series marks the 100th clash between fierce rugby league rivals New South Wales and Queensland. 12. Game 3, 2010: Queensland complete their first series sweep since '95

With two games in Sydney the stakes were even higher for the Maroons as they looked to make it five series wins in a row.  While they snuck away with a tight 28-24 win in Game I, Origin II was a whole other ball game as the Queenslanders smoked the Blues 34-6 on home soil. With the series in hand, QLD held solid and beat NSW, a side that was chopped and changed severely throughout the series 23-18, to secure a 3-0 whitewash – their first since 1995 in what proved to be a perfect 50th birthday present for Maroons coach Mal Meninga.
