53. Game Three, 1983: Queensland surge to a 33–0 lead as they win the series in devastating style.
It was billed as the clash of the decade after a NSW team containing eight members of the Eels 1982 premiership winning side had squared the series with a 10-6 victory at the SCG in Game Two, but Wally Lewis turned in yet another brilliant performance at Lang Park to see the Maroons skip out to a 21-0 lead at halftime. Midway through the second half the Queenslanders led by an incredible 33-0 margin, before four late tries from NSW saw a final score of 43-22, the Cane Toads biggest victory in an interstate contest since 1955.
