An exhibition match, featuring Australia’s team for the 2014 Commonwealth Games, will be held in Glasgow this weekend (27-28 June).

For the first time, Rugby League will be part of the Games in Glasgow next month and Australia will be represented by the 2014 SG Ball Premiers, the Sydney Roosters.

“It’s a wonderful honour for the Sydney Roosters to be representing Australia at the Commonwealth Games exhibition in Glasgow,” Roosters COO Brian Canavan said.

“We wish the team all the very best ahead of the tournament getting underway, and I’m sure they’ll do both our game and country proud.”

The exhibition match will be held at Broadwood Stadium Glasgow.
