91. Game Three, 1992: Ricky Stuart scores a typical try as NSW win 16-4

When you look at this moment nowadays you can't help but draw comparisons to Trent Hodkinson's efforts in the drought-breaking win in this year's series. Though unlike Hodkinson it wouldn't be his first foray into the Origin arena, Canberra halfback Ricky Stuart helped influence NSW's 16-4 win over Queensland to win the 1992 Origin series. The point scoring began through the playmaker as he ran underneath hooker Benny Elias down the short-side. Failing to straighten up, the Canberra playmaker dummied to two of his teammates trailing underneath him before slicing through the defence to get the Blues on the scoreboard to kick-start what would end up being NSW's fourth Origin win.
