A St George Illawarra Dragons Holden Cup player has been suspended after returning a positive sample to an anabolic steroid.

Chief Operating Officer, Jim Doyle said the NRL’s Anti-Doping policy requires the NRL to stand down Under 20s player, Dylan Lauri, once a positive sample is recorded.

His A-sample has tested positive for metabolites of Nandrolone.

Lauri has been provisionally suspended from training and playing with the Dragons until the matter is resolved.
