Rabbitohs winger Lote Tuqiri will spend one week on the sidelines after pleading guilty to a Grade Two Dangerous Contact charge by the match review committee following his challenge on Jarryd Hayne in the Rabbitohs' 32-12 win over the Eels on Friday night.

Tuqiri's early guilty plea means he’ll only miss the Rabbitohs’ trip to the nation’s capital to face the Raiders in Round 20 on Monday night.

Seven other players were charged out of Round 19, but all are free to play having taken early pleas to a variety of Grade One offences.

Bulldogs pair Trent Hodkinson and Corey Thompson (both grade one dangerous throw charges), are free to line up against the Cowboys on Saturday night, while Joseph Paulo, Sika Manu, Manu Vatuvei, Blake Austin (all grade one careless high tackle charges), and Josh Jackson (tripping) have all escaped suspension with early guilty pleas to their respective charges.
