Jared Waerea-Hargreaves says the Roosters' goal-line defence is returning to the standard of their premiership-winning 2013 season.
The beleaguered Tigers' playing stocks have taken another hit, with forwards Sitaleki Akauola and Bodene Thompson both facing stints on the sideline after being charged following Monday night's loss to Melbourne.

Akauola will miss a week for his 71st-minute shoulder charge on Billy Slater after making an early guilty plea, while Thompson has been rubbed out for two games following his early guilty plea to a Grade 1 dangerous contact charge for his shot on Storm prop Jesse Bromwich.

Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (careless high tackle), Manly's Jesse Sene-Lefao (crusher tackle), Parramatta's Junior Paulo and Raiders forward Josh Papalii (both dangerous contact) were also charged with Grade 1 offences, though will be free to play in Round 22 after submitting early guilty pleas.
