More than 600 of the game's junior players from across NSW will meet at North Ryde's Macquarie University Sports Field on Wednesday and Thursday (20 -21 August) for the 13th annual Legends Shield.

The Legends Shield event is the annual grand final for Legends Shields held annually across NSW.

The Champion teams of each of the individual Legends Shield vie for state supremacy across the two day event.

Thursday will see the first ever standalone Legends Shield Girls Finals day with 27 teams from across the state vying for the Legend title.

Representatives and players will be present across the two day commencing with a major breakfast on Wednesday morning to launch the annual Legends Shield finale.

Fifty two schools across the two days will compete in the events with players travelling from 23 regions across NSW including Bourke, Orange, Gunnedah, Parkes and Kingscliff.
