To celebrate the run into the business end of the 2014 season, Telstra is offering customers free access to the NRL Digital Pass to view live games on their mobile or tablet for the duration of the NRL Finals.
Telstra Director of Digital Media and Content Adam Good said the Free Footy Finals offer was the perfect way to stay connected to Finals action as the weather warms up and weekends start filling up with barbeques and trips to the beach.
"Footy fans love to keep up-to-date with their teams during the finals period, but this can sometimes be hard at the start of spring when the weekend schedules start to fill up,” he said.
“The good news is we are introducing a great offer for our customers so they can enjoy live NRL games from their favourite compatible mobile device from home or when they are out and about.
“From today, Telstra mobile customers can access the NRL Digital Pass free of charge for the whole finals period. Better than that, most customers aren’t charged for any data used when watching content via the app over the Telstra Mobile Network, however data charges apply to download the apps.”
“Customers can also enjoy exclusive content via the NRL Digital Pass, like exclusive press conferences and live in-match video with live stats,” said Adam.
The offer is open to all customers with a Telstra mobile or tablet service who haven’t already redeemed a THANKS loyalty offer for the NRL Digital Pass this year and do not have an active NRL Digital Pass subscription.
“This is the latest offer we have introduced for our customers to enjoy NRL live on their favourite compatible mobile device in 2014. Most Telstra customers can use these apps on the Telstra Mobile Network without data fees. It’s all a part of the brilliant experiences we want bring our customers,” Adam said.
