Penrith Panthers fullback Matt Moylan has been added to the Holden Kangaroos squad for the Four Nations tournament following the withdrawal of Jarryd Hayne.
"We needed to cover fullback following Jarryd's withdrawal and Matt has been one of the stand-out fullbacks during the NRL season," Holden Kangaroos coach Tim Sheens said.
"Matt impressed me in PNG with the Prime Minister's XIII and I'm looking forward to working with him in the Four Nations squad."
Moylan handled the difficult conditions in PNG last Sunday superbly and was considered one of the best performers for the Prime Minister's XIII.
A match-winner on a number of occasions for the Panthers throughout 2014, Moylan's coolness under pressure is a feature of his game that has drawn comparisons with the greatest Kanagroo of them all, Darren Lockyer.
With beautiful hands that laid on 18 tries for teammates this season and a turn of speed that saw him make 14 line breaks and score nine tries himself, the 23-year-old is clearly a representative star of the future.
