The Canberra Raiders on Saturday named their squad for the Auckland Nines on January 31-Feb 1 at Eden Park.
New recruit Sisa Waqa has been included in the Raiders squad for the tournament as has returning Raider Sam Williams and veteran Ken Nagas who will play his first game for the Raiders since retiring in 2002.
The Raiders 18 man squad includes nine players who represented the club at last year’s Nines, with up and coming players Tevita Pangai Junior and Lachlan Croker set to make their senior debuts for the club after previously featuring at NYC level.
Jarrod Croker will Captain the team for the second time at the Nines, after he was named Captain for the Raiders 2015 season in December.
