What do the NRL, the NBA and MLB all have in common? They all have their official app on the new Apple Watch.
As part of the NRL's digital partnership with Telstra, the NRL Official App is available on Apple Watch, making it one of the first major sport apps to appear on the technology and fashion accessory.
Only Telstra gives access to exclusive NRL premium content on multiple devices and now fans will be able to connect with live scores, live stats and scoring timelines right from their wrist.
Telstra has worked closely with Pittsburgh based developer, YinzCam, to create a beautiful and seamless app with a focus on giving fans the best real time scoring experience, even if you're not at the game.
"I'm very excited to have what I consider the best game in the world embedded in one of the most anticipated and groundbreaking devices in recent memory," said Adam Good, Telstra Director of Digital Media and Content.
"We are very passionate about our footy at Telstra and we want to make sure fans don't miss any of the action.
"The NRL Official App has already been downloaded more than 1.5 million times and I'm very excited to announce it is now available to download on the new Apple Watch."
NRL fans with Apple Watch will be able to access the Telstra Premiership draw, ladder and Match Centre including form guide, live stats and scoring timeline. You can also get notification alerts for kick-offs, scoring plays, results and breaking news on Apple Watch.
