The 'Battle of the West' is on again with the Penrith Panthers hosting the Parramatta Eels on Friday night at Pepper Stadium to kick off Round 12 in the NRL Telstra Premiership.

NRL Marketing Manager Lewis Pullen said these two arch-rivals always put on an outstanding display as they seek to reign supreme in the 'Battle of the West'.

"Just two days after Australian sport's greatest rivalry takes place, don't miss the opportunity to see one of Sydney's great sporting rivalries," Mr Pullen said.

"With Penrith seeking to consolidate their place in the top eight and Parramatta coming off two tight losses, both sides will be desperate for a win."
