James Roberts continued his blistering start to the season with another try and try assist against Souths.

Exciting young Gold Coast Titans centre James Roberts has re-signed with the club for a further two seasons.

The 22-year-old has been in superb form in recent weeks which was recognised with his selection in the City Origin side.

He has scored 27 tries in his 40 NRL appearances including 11 from 12 games this season, putting him equal second with teammate Anthony Don on the NRL try-scoring list.

"It's good to have my future settled, I've really enjoyed it on the Gold Coast, the relaxed lifestyle outside of footy as well as at the Titans," Roberts said.

"It's been a fresh start for me and I appreciate the faith the club has shown and I want to really prove myself as an NRL player in the next couple of seasons.

"I've matured as a person and a player in my time here but I know I can keep improving and I want to play a big part for the Titans moving forward as a club."
