Cronulla hooker Michael Ennis has been found guilty of a Grade 1 careless high tackle at the NRL Judiciary on Wednesday night.

The charge means he will miss Cronulla's Round 17 clash against the Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Ennis could still be a late call up to the NSW Origin team however, as his suspension will officially be served after Round 17 is complete on Monday night.

NSW hooker Robbie Farah joined NSW camp on Wednesday night, but it is unclear whether he'll be right to play the Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium on July 8, after having surgery on his fractured right hand.

Ennis will make the trip to Coffs Harbour to join the Blues squad as cover for Farah.
