The St George Illawarra Dragons have granted Charly Runciman a formal release from his current playing contract.

Runciman has been granted an early release to take-up a multi-year opportunity with the Widnes Vikings in the UK Super League.

Runciman made his first-grade debut for the Club in round 16 of the 2013 campaign against the Penrith Panthers and made 12 appearances in total.
