Broncos players celebrate during their Round 20 win over the Titans.

The Broncos continued their unbridled gallop towards the minor premiership after holding the Titans scoreless in a 34-0 win at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

The win stretches Brisbane's winning streak to eight games, while the Titans slumped to their fifth-straight loss in front of a Suncorp Stadium crowd of 27,665.

Trailing 18-0 at half-time, the Titans lost halfback Kane Elgey with concussion only minutes into the second stanza after the 21-year-old copped a late shot by Adam Blair which resulted in the prop being placed on report.

Former Bronco Josh Hoffman also booked himself a date with the judiciary with a high shot on Jordan Kahu in a local derby which produced plenty of feeling despite the lopsided scoreboard.

The Titans enjoyed 52 per cent of possession and completed 86 per cent of their sets, but failed to score any points as the Broncos held a side scoreless for the first time since Round 24, 2006 – the year they last won the premiership.

Brisbane were aided yet again by halves Ben Hunt and Anthony Milford who registered two try assists each, while Darius Boyd made 177 metres and two line breaks.

Gold Coast enjoyed the majority of early possession and went within inches to open the scoring when Hoffman broke through the defensive line in the 12th minute.

Brisbane received back-to-back penalties in the next passage of play and took advantage of their dangerous field position when Corey Parker crashed over the line for his very first try against the Titans.

The Broncos crossed again in the 22nd minute through Darius Boyd and increased their lead five minutes later after a sublime line break and sidestep from Hunt sent the halfback over for his fifth try of the season and a 16-0 lead to the home side.

The Titans enjoyed three consecutive sets late in the first half but failed to capitalise and the Broncos added another two points through Kahu to take an 18-nil lead into the half-time break.

Blair's late shot on Elgey three minutes into the second half saw the Broncos prop placed on report and the Titans halfback taken from the field with concussion.

Brisbane compounded the Titans' loss of Elgey when Milford sent Wallace over under the posts for his second try in as many games with Parker's conversion taking Brisbane out to a 24-point in the 46th minute.

Any chance of a Gold Coast comeback evaporated in the 63rd minute when Kodi Nikorima dashed over from dummy-half for his maiden NRL try.

Milford involved himself again 10 minutes from full-time by delivering a clever inside ball to send Alex Glenn over for Brisbane's sixth try of the night.

The Titans held the majority of possession after Glenn's try but failed to cross the line for the second week running.

Brisbane Broncos 34 (Corey Parker, Darius Boyd, Ben Hunt, Jarrod Wallace, Kodi Nikorima, Alex Glenn tries; Parker 3, Jordan Kahu 2 goals) defeated Gold Coast Titans 0 at Suncorp Stadium. Crowd: 27,665. Half-time: Broncos 18-0. On report: Adam Blair (Broncos), Josh Hoffman (Titans).
