The Cronulla Sharks announced that Andrew and David Fifita have both accepted six-match suspensions for incident at an A Grade match conducted by the Penrith and District Junior Rugby League last month.
Andrew has also been fined $30,000 and will perform 25 hours of service to support junior rugby league and match officials across the Cronulla Sutherland District Junior Rugby League.
In addition, he will provide a written apology to the match officials involved in the incident and undergo an appropriate development course.
In addition to his suspension, David will perform 25 hours of support to junior rugby league and match officials across the Cronulla Sutherland District Junior Rugby League.
He will apologise to the match officials involved and the Penrith and District Junior Rugby League.
The six-round NRL suspensions imposed on both players include rounds 21-26 of the current NRL Premiership season.
Sharks CEO Lyall Gorman said both players had expressed genuine remorse over the incident and the impact of the incident on on all parties.
