The 24-year-old, who was a match-winner for the Knights in their victory over Wests Tigers on Saturday, will add experience in the halves around Titans rookie Kane Elgey who has impressed this season and 20-year-old Junior Kangaroo Ashley Taylor who has also been signed for the next two seasons.

Roberts, who has played 94 NRL games for the Knights and scored 390 points, returns to just north of where his rugby league journey began on the NSW north coast.

Titans head coach Neil Henry said Roberts provides the Titans with an experienced option in the halves alongside Taylor and Elgey and feels his best years are ahead of him.

“Tyrone is an accomplished playmaker and goalkicker who has played nearly 100 first grade games and has all the skills,” said Henry.
