New signing Michael Lichaa has some big shoes to fill at hooker after replacing for Bulldogs skipper Michael Ennis.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs hooker Michael Lichaa is likely to miss the remainder of the season after scans today revealed further damage to his right leg and ankle than first thought.

Scans revealed a fracture, and with surgery now required, Lichaa will not be able to recover in time before season's end.

Lichaa came from the field in just the fourth minute of play against the Titans when his right leg got caught underneath a Greg Bird tackle, with the 22-year-old taking no further part in the match.
