Jamie Lyon was immense for the Sea Eagles against the Raiders in Round 23.

Bad news for Michael Lichaa and Aaron Woods owners this week as an unlikely name tops the list of NRL Fantasy scorers in Round 23.

Peachey on top

Ball-playing Panthers forward Tyrone Peachey was moved closer to the action at five-eighth for Penrith's clash with the Warriors on Saturday and had a ball, with eight tackle breaks, a whopping four line breaks, 236 run metres and a try for a round-high 91 NRL Fantasy points.

Peachey edged out several more familiar Fantasy scorers this week, led by Manly skipper Jamie Lyon (81, including two tries), a barnstorming Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (77), Broncos halfback Ben Hunt (77), Roosters fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (75), Brisbane pivot Anthony Milford (72) and Roosters hooker Jake Friend (71).

Paul Gallen was once again the best of the regular captaincy options with 65, while popular Fantasy buys Adam Reynolds, Daly Cherry-Evans, Jack Bird, Cameron Smith, Jesse Bromwich, Shaun Fensom and Simon Mannering all topped 60 points.

Injury update

There will be more forced trades this week with Bulldogs hooker and Fantasy favourite Michael Lichaa suffering what looks like a season-ending leg injury.

In other injuries, Gold Coast playmaker Aidan Sezer's season could also be over due to a shoulder injury, while Ben Barba (ankle) and Dale Finucane (forearm) were both injured in Melbourne's win over Cronulla on Monday night.

Wests Tigers prop Aaron Woods is in doubt for this week's clash with the Sharks due to a knee injury suffered in the first half against the Knights, while Manly front-rower Jake Trbojevic is likely to miss a week with concussion.

Star hookers Robbie Farah (cheekbone) and Andrew McCullough (ankle) both picked up minor injuries but are expected to play this week.

Meanwhile Rabbitohs rake Issac Luke could face up to four weeks on the sidelines after being hit with two charges by the NRL's match review committee following Souths' win over the Cowboys, and Aidan Guerra, Lachlan Burr, Jordan Rapana, Jorge Taufua, Sam Rapira and Luke Keary are also facing possible suspensions.

Round 23 disappointments

There were few genuine "flops" this week, although those who had snapped up in-form Roosters centre Blake Ferguson wouldn't have been thrilled with his lowly 12 against the Eels on Saturday night.

Lichaa's injury early in the Dogs' win over the Titans onSunday meant he left the field with just a single point to his name, while Woods didn't fare much better with 3.

Lichaa aside it was an ordinary week for hookers generally in Fantasy, with James Segeyaro (38 off the bench), Andrew McCullough (37) and Robbie Farah (27) all struggling for points. The in-form Mitch Rein (56, following his last-round score of 87) suddenly looms as a safe option to replace Lichaa this week.

Corey Parker was an underwhelming captaincy option with a low (by his standards) 49 points, while popular buys Sio Siua Taukeiaho (31) and Euan Aitken (28) both performed a little below expectations.

Congratulations to those of you still alive in your head-to-head Fantasy leagues, and for those of you who are out of the running it's time to start planning for who you'll pick in your NRL Finals Fantasy side, kicking off after Round 26 in the Match Day section of Fantasy.
