Ngeleia Primary School became the first school in the Kingdom of Tonga to benefit from the NRL League for Life Program.

The NRL has now been operational in Tonga for two months and is making huge strides through the education and sports divisions of the Tongan Government due to its professional and fully inclusive approach.

Accompanied by the NRL Tonga's newly appointed part-time staff member Nehumi Vanisi, who is currently studying business at the University the South Pacific, the boys and girls undertook skills lessons involving passing, catching and evasion.

These drills were all conducted in a controlled, safe, fun and non-contact environment allowing the confidence of our first time participants to replicate the stars they see on they read about in the papers and see on their televisions.
