The Broncos, Roosters, Storm and Cowboys will take to the field in this weekend's preliminary finals.

Mitchell Pearce is a certain starter for Friday night's preliminary final between the Roosters and the Broncos, while Markia Koroibete is in doubt for Melbourne's clash with North Queensland on Saturday night. Here is all the late mail from the four team just one week away from a Grand Final.

Broncos: Brisbane have enjoyed a well earned week off after defeating the Cowboys in an epic Queensland derby in the first week of the finals. No changes expected with Ben Hunt recovering well from his cork from a few weeks ago.

Roosters: Mitchell Pearce is guaranteed to return from injury and lead the Roosters in the No.7, pushing outstanding youngster Jackson Hastings to the bench. Matt McIllwrick drops out of the side and will play in the NSW Cup Grand Final with Wyong Roos against Newcastle on Sunday.

Storm: Melbourne's only concern is winger Marika Koroibete who has been carrying an Achilles injury. The Storm rely on the Fijian to get through a lot of work and provide spark in their backline, and he would be a big omission. Christian Welch will be on standby to come into the team.

Cowboys: No injury concerns for the North Queenslanders with Michael Morgan proving without a shadow of a doubt that he had recovered from his injury with a dominant performance against the Sharks last week. There is plenty of pressure on the Cowboys big men to get a roll over the Storm's middle, but all eyes will undoubtedly be on Johnathan Thurston in this one.
