Round 3 Results:
Bulldogs 16 defeated Sea Eagles 12
Broncos 44 defeated Cowboys 22
Warriors 29 defeated Eels 16
Dragons 22 defeated Raiders 20
Storm 36 defeated Sharks 18
Rabbitohs 20 defeated Wests Tigers 6
Knights 20 defeated Titans 18
Roosters 20 defeated Panthers 12

The Rabbitohs' perfect start to 2015 continued with a comfortable win over the Wests Tigers, with bookmakers opening markets on when the reigning premiers' first loss would come. Surprisingly Souths were joined atop the NRL Telstra Premiership ladder by an undefeated Newcastle. Meanwhile eventual premiers North Queensland sat on the bottom rung of the ladder after starting the season with three straight losses, having been thumped by 22 points by Brisbane. The Cowboys looked set to be joined at the bottom of the ladder by the Dragons, but after struggling badly against the Raiders the Red V somehow produced a miraculous comeback victory – much to the unhappiness of Canberra coach Ricky Stuart.
