A 'Sharknado' hit the Shire in Round 7 when Cronulla clashed with the Rabbitohs in horrific conditions. It was amazing than 4000 fans braved the cyclonic conditions, with a handful of them rocking up in wetsuits, to see out the wind-affected game as the Sharks made it three wins straight. The Raiders scored their biggest comeback in the club's history, and the equal-third biggest in NRL history when they came from 22-0 down after 28 minutes to produce an eight-point win. The Storm handed the Roosters their third consecutive defeat while the Dragons' hard-fought win over Brisbane ensured a logjam of teams continued to vie for the first spot after seven rounds. The Sea Eagles continued to sit on the bottom of the table after being hammered by the Bulldogs.
