Wests Tigers lock Martin Taupau has continued to take his game to another level in 2015.

New Zealand lock Martin Taupau has refused to comment on his future beyond saying, "I'm still contracted to the Tigers for next season".

Taupau faced the media for the first time since reports emerged linking him to Manly for 2016 when the Kiwis opened their British tour against Leeds.

He did little to dispel suggestions a planned move to the Sea Eagles in 2017 may be brought forward.

"There's a lot of talk everywhere – there's always something to talk about in the NRL," Taupau said.

"Look, I'm glad I'm over here with the Kiwis. That's my purpose and that's my job. I'm glad I'm over here enjoying it and taking everything in.

"I'm still contracted to the Tigers for next year. At this time my main focus is for the Kiwis.

"We must be bored – people have nothing better to do but start rumours."
