2015 Season Review: Round 17

NRL.com takes a look back at the season that was, including our most-viewed content on a week-to-week basis.

Round 17 Results:

Panthers 20 defeated Rabbitohs 6
Cowboys 18 defeated Dragons 12
Sea Eagles 28 defeated Sharks 16
Eels 28 defeated Wests Tigers 16

In the final pre-Origin round of the NRL season the Panthers offered the biggest shock when Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Bryce Cartwright took it to the reigning premiers South Sydney who were without Greg Inglis. The Cowboys handed the Dragons their fourth consecutive loss with the likes of Robert Lui and Ray Thompson firing in the absence of North Queensland's Origin players. After spending a week on the high after beating the Cowboys the Sharks came crashing back to earth when their bogey team Manly sent them back to the Shire with their tails between their legs; while Parramatta left the Tigers searching for quick fixes at the bottom of the NRL Telstra Premiership.
