Penrith's Sam McKendry is headed to the NRL judiciary while Roosters forward Isaac Liu has accepted a one-match suspension resulting from Monday night's Panthers win.

McKendry has pleaded not guilty, and faces a week out if found guilty of his contrary conduct charge for making contact with referee Jared Maxwell late in the contest.

Liu was hit with a grade two charge of making dangerous contact with the head/neck of Lelani Latu, and will miss one match after taking an early guilty plea.

Knights forward Pauli Pauli will miss one week after taking an early guilty plea for a grade two carless high tackle on Broncos counterpart Joe Ofahengaue in Newcastle’s heavy loss at Suncorp Stadium.

Rabbitohs centre Hymel Hunt (grade one careless high tackle) will be free to face the Broncos in Round 8 after also accepting an early guilty plea, while Bulldogs prop Tim Browne also escaped suspension for his tripping charge.

Despite a poor past record, Storm forward Nelson Asofa-Solomona (tripping) has narrowly avoided suspension, opting for the early guilty plea.
