Sims was one of three players charged, with Cronulla forward Jayson Bukuya and New Zealand halfback Shaun Johnson also earning the ire of officials.

Sims was charged with a grade two careless high tackle and will be suspended for Saturday's Test match unless he successfully fights the charge at the NRL judiciary.

Warriors and New Zealand halfback Johnson will escape suspension for his grade one tripping charge and will be available to take on Australia on Friday night at Hunter Stadium with an early guilty plea.

Cronulla forward Bukuya was cited for a grade one shoulder charge and is set to miss a week, unless he fights the charge at the NRL judiciary and loses, which would result in a two-match ban.

All players will have until midday on Tuesday to enter a plea.
