Sea Eagles prop Brenton Lawrence has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a pec injury.

Sea Eagles prop Brenton Lawrence has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2016 season with a pec injury, the club confirmed on Tuesday night.

Lawrence, 31, had managed nine appearances with the NRL side this season after injury restricted him to just 45 minutes of first grade football in 2015.

The front-rower joins a long Sea Eagles injury list, with Daly Cherry-Evans (ankle, four weeks), Jamie Lyon (hamstring, two weeks), Steve Matai (neck, indefinite), Isaac John (pec, two weeks), and Jayden Hodges (knee, season) also unavailable for selection.
