It was an epic contest between two of the best teams in the NRL Telstra Premiership and NRL.com expert Matt Elliott breaks down the amazing defensive work done by both the Cowboys and the Sharks on Monday night.
Both sides scrambled in defence and came up with multiple try-saving tackles which was the highlight of an absorbing contest.
Elliott highlights the work of the Sharks defensive unit to push up to the advantage line and stop the Cowboys forwards from getting a roll on. He also highlights how the whole Sharks team worked together to prevent Johnathan Thurston from getting on the outside.
Elliott then demonstrates how points were scored and the attacking and defensive plays that lead to the tries.
