Raiders workhorse Luke Bateman is in danger of missing Round 18 through suspension.

Canberra lock Luke Bateman and interchange hooker Kurt Baptiste have both been charged for separate incidents in their side's dramatic golden point win over the Knights at GIO Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Bateman was slapped with a grade one dangerous contact – head/neck charge, and a prior similar offence in the past two years means the young workhorse will miss Round 18 of the Telstra Premiership through suspension even with an early guilty plea.

Baptiste was cited for a grade one dangerous throw on Newcastle's Nathan Ross, and a prior good record means he will narrowly avoid suspension with an early guilty plea.
