Cronulla have continued to bolster their squad for their premiership defence, adding Tony Williams and Jeremy Latimore to their forward pack for 2017.

Williams has signed a one-year deal, with the former NSW and Australian back-rower sure to add further presence to the Sharks' forward stocks.

Latimore was granted a release from his deal at the Panthers to join the Sharks, also signing a one-year deal to head south to the shire.

In addition to acquiring Williams and Latimore, the club also confirmed premiership-winning forwards Luke Lewis, Chris Heighington and Sam Tagataese have signed on for season 2017, with Michael Ennis the only player from the side's grand final pack to be missing for next season.
