Panthers players celebrate during the 2016 Holden Cup Grand Final.

The Panthers have re-signed 21-year-old prop Moses Leota until the end of the 2019 season.

"I'm really grateful for the chance to stay at the Panthers," Leota said.

"There's a special bunch of players here, the club has a great culture and I couldn't see myself playing anywhere else.

"Now I want to focus on playing consistent footy and strive for my goal of being a regular NRL player."

Leota made his NYC debut for the Panthers in 2014 and was a member of the premiership-winning Panthers NYC side in 2015. He was subsequently named Panthers NYC Player of the Year.

After spending most of 2016 with the Panthers Intrust Super Premiership NSW side, his hard-earned NRL debut came against Manly in Round 14.

"Moses is a terrific story," Panthers Executive General Manager Phil Gould AM said.

"He is one of the most dedicated and hard-working young men you will ever meet and a pleasure to have around our club.

"I sincerely hope this is the start of a long and successful career with the Panthers."
