The NRL's best attacking team last season is chock full of quality Fantasy players, including the game's two highest-scoring centres. But is fan favourite Shaun Fensom's time as a Fantasy factor finished?

Fantasy guns

Joseph Leilua (CTR, $464,000): With 49 points a game, Joey Leilua was the best NRL Fantasy centre in the league last season. Leilua's been a tackle-break machine for a few years now but his offloading was phenomenal in 2016, and his combination with Jordan Rapana was a key factor in the Raiders being the NRL's most potent attacking side. He can be inconsistent – he had two scores below 25, as well as four above 70 – but on his day he's hard to match.

Jarrod Croker (CTR, $449,000):
Croker is the only other centre beside Leilua to post four scores above 70 last season, and ranked a close second behind Leilua for points per game. He's more consistent than his fellow centre and doesn't necessarily need to be involved in try-scoring plays to score well, as the goal-kicker for the league's best attacking outfit.

Elliott Whitehead (2RF, $492,000): One of the best recruits of 2016, Whitehead scored 52 points a game – and showed he was capable of scoring in a variety of ways. The 80-minute forward made just under 40 tackles a game but also contributed six tries, eight try assists and 13 line-break assists.

Wildcards

Jordan Rapana (WFB, $447,000): It's hard to know whether the barnstorming winger can match his tremendous 2016 campaign but it's hard to go past a winger/fullback who averages more than 47 points a game in Fantasy. The game's best tackle-breaker also ran in his fair share of tries alongside Leilua. If you expect the Raiders to be the NRL's best attacking team again this season Rapana could be worth a try.

Shaun Fensom (2RF, $403,000):
Once considered one of the elite players of NRL Fantasy, Canberra tackle machine Fensom dropped $158,000 in value last season, averaging less than 43 points a game after being a 55-point player in previous seasons. The old No.13 wasn't even making the Raiders bench by the end of the season so appears to be a long shot to become a Fantasy favourite again in the short term.
