Bulldogs forward David Klemmer during the Round 5 clash with the Raiders at Belmore.

Canterbury have named damaging forwards David Klemmer and Sam Kasiano as part of their 19-man squad for the 2017 Downer NRL Auckland Nines.

Klemmer, one of 10 players on NRL.com's Auckland Nines wishlist, will make his tournament debut while five-eighth Josh Reynolds will captain the side, the most senior playmaker included in the squad.

Local products D'Rhys Miller and Marcelo Montoya will both also be in action at Eden Park, with Miller having won the club's NYC Player of Year award in 2016 and Montoya already having represented Fiji at Test level.
