The Raiders claimed a last-minute win over the Rabbitohs at the Auckland Nines.

A Scott Sorensen try in the dying seconds saw the Canberra Raiders edge past the South Sydney Rabbitohs 15-12.

A converted Brent Naden bonus zone try saw Canberra off to a flyer, but the Rabbitohs soon replied with one of their own to Bryson Goodwin which left scores locked at 7-7 at the break.

A 40/20 kick gifted the Rabbitohs with a set deep in attacking territory early in the second period, and from close range Zane Musgrove powered his way over for the go-ahead bonus zone try.

Playing his first game for the Green Machine, English import Jordan Turner hit back with a try but a missed conversion meant the Raiders still trailed 12-11.

But on the last set of the game the Raiders broke free on halfway, eventually finding Sorensen in support to clinch a last-gasp victory

Raiders 15 (Brent Naden, Jordan Turner, Scott Sorensen tries; 1 goal) def. Rabbitohs 12 (Bryson Goodwin, Zane Musgrove tries; 1 goal). Half-time: 7-7.
