Cowboys back-rower Coen Hess should improve on his nine NRL appearances to date in 2017.

The North Queensland Cowboys and Manly Sea Eagles have both confirmed their final 17 ahead of their Round 3 NRL Telstra Premiership clash at 1300Smiles Stadium on Saturday night.

Coen Hess replaces the suspended Jason Taumalolo in the Cowboys pack, while Shaun Fensom is set to make his club debut after signing from Canberra.

Manly have made some changes on their bench with Cameron Cullen, Jarrad Kennedy, Jonathan Wright and Matthew Wright all dropping out of the side. Jackson Hastings and Bill Bainbridge will play off the bench.
