Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett hopes Kodi Nikorima continues his development at the Broncos.

The Brisbane Broncos and Sydney Roosters have finalised their 17-man squads for their Round 6 NRL Telstra Premiership clash.

Corey Oates is out for the Broncos, with David Mead joining the side on the wing. Herman Ese'ese and Alex Glenn will start, with Korbin Sims and Sam Thaiday dropping to the bench. Kodi Nikorima replaces Jai Arrow in the final 17.

The Roosters are unchanged, 1-17, with Joseph Manu and Eloni Vunakece dropping out of the squad.
